Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st October 1995. She was born in Berkeley, California, USA. Her work includes actress for Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which includes directors and actors, also pursued these careers. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. The following year she played Nanni Moretti's daughter in Red Wood Pigeon It was in the film Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she had the opportunity to move on from playing very young girls to more complex, mature role. Asia has worked with Dario Argento in three of his films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome and the Phantom of the Opera. In 1993, she starred alongside the Perdiamoci of Carlo Verdone di vista in which she performed the role of Arianna who was a disabled girl. It was a complex, challenging part that earned an award from David di Donatello for the best actress. She was also an important role in the international cast in the film Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. She worked in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli, which won her the David di Donatello award and an award of Grolla oro. Asia started her short film directing career in 1994. In addition, she was the director of an episode in the movie De Generazione. 1996 saw her make a documentary along with the father of her. 1998 saw her direct AbelAsia on the famous director Abel Ferrara. This film received a prize from the Rome Film Festival. Asia made her debut as a director in 1999 with Scarlet Diva. It was also the principal actress and screenwriter. The film was released globally during May of 2000. It won an award in Brooklyn's Williamsburg film festival.
